On June 30, 2022, the Eighth Judicial District Court filed an order in the administrative matter of civil and criminal division case reassignments for Departments 1 and 9. See Administrative Order 22-10. The order becomes effective July 11, 2022.

Judges Sought for Truancy Diversion Program
The Eighth Judicial District Court is seeking volunteer Truancy Diversion Program (TDP) judges to work with the Clark County School District and the Clark County Charter Schools to reduce absenteeism in school to reduce the number of youths entering the formal juvenile justice system.
