Nevada Bar Counsel Dan Hooge to Present Ethics CLE Seminar
On Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., the Clark County Bar Association (CCBA) will host a live CLE seminar for members of the CCBA and the Nevada bars.
“Meet Your New Bar Counsel: What to Expect from Attorney Discipline” will feature Dan Hooge, Bar Counsel at the State Bar of Nevada, as the speaker. Hooge plans to focus on the goal of discipline; why discipline is public, factors to consider when imposing discipline, the discipline process, screening panel options, hearing panels, formal hearings, Supreme Court review, negotiated pleas, and tips from the office of bar counsel.
This seminar is designed to provide 1.5 Ethics CLE credits for Nevada attorneys and will be held in the classroom at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada in downtown Las Vegas.
