About the candidate:

Esther has been practicing law and serving Nevadans over 22 years as an advocate, a Judge pro-tem, and a Court-appointed Arbitrator for the Clark and Washoe County Courts. She has owned and managed her law firm based in Las Vegas since 2004.

She is a graduate of Princeton University, where she obtained a bachelors degree. She received a Masters Degree from Stanford University, and law degree from Tulane Law School. She has served as a Mediator and Arbitrator for the State Bar fee dispute committee for 15 years. She is well-versed in all aspects of civil procedure, and licensed to practice in the federal and state courts of Nevada, the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. She is of Hispanic descent and the first person in her family to attend college.

Esther’s experience representing Plaintiffs and Defendants will bring a balanced perspective to the bench. Former employers and training grounds include Beckley Singleton; England & Associates; Greenman, Goldberg, Raby & Martinez; Flangas McMillan; and Morris Polich & Purdy. She has extensive experience in the courtroom, and before numerous regulatory agencies including the Nevada Transportation and Taxicab Authorities; Employee Management Relations Board; Nevada Public Employees Retirement System Board; NLRB; EEOC; NERC; and Workers Compensation.
