CCBA Community Service Activities

Members of the Clark County Bar Association (CCBA) are invited to provide outreach services to the community at large in southern Nevada.  See below for a list of upcoming community service activities organized by the CCBA Community Service Committee:

Blanket The Homeless

CCBA Volunteers at Three Square

  • Date: Monday, January 20, 2020
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Where: Three Square Food Bank (The Volunteer Room), 4190 N. Pecos Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89115. Note: They have two large buildings, enter the one labeled 4220 or North Campus.
  • Who: Bar members & their families (ages 10 & up) are invited to participate. Close-toe shoes required.
  • Sign up to volunteer: Bar members are invited to bring friends and family. However, space will be limited to the first 30 people who sign up. Interested CCBA members are asked to sign up ASAP. Provide your contact info and the number of people you plan to bring with you to Steph at CCBA.
  • About the activity: The Volunteer Room is their central operational support area for all of Three Square’s programs and services. Activities in this area include packing produce and grocery items for individuals in need, sorting and packing donated food product, preparing product for distribution and any other tasks that may be needed. You may be standing, bending, lifting, and walking on concrete. in non-climate controlled areas. Minimum age: Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to volunteer at Three Square.Volunteers ages 10-17 will need to sign a minor release form upon arrival. Dress code to wear: Pants or knee length shorts, t-shirt, closed-toe shoes, and a smile. Attire: Please dress appropriately for a warehouse environment (ie, jeans, t-shirt). It is
    recommended to dress in layers during the winter months and cool in the summer months.
    No tank tops or short shorts please. All volunteers must wear close-toed shoes. What to bring: Please only bring what you need to your session. Leave valuables such as jewelry at home. Three Square is not responsible for any personal items that are lost or stolen.
