Certain LVJC Caseload Changes Becoming Effective May 14, 2018

On Monday May 14, 2018, the following caseload changes will become effective at the Las Vegas Justice Court:

  1. Judge Melanie Andress-Tobiasson (LVJC Dept. 10) will assume the criminal caseload from Judge Ann Zimmerman (LVJC Dept. 8). The arraignment time will remain at 8:00 a.m., and the time for preliminary hearings and trials will remain at 9:30 a.m.
  2. Judge Ann Zimmerman (LVJC Dept. 8) will assume the domestic-violence caseload from Judge Melanie Andress-Tobiasson (LVJC Dept. 10). Certain calendar times from Department 10 will be phased out gradually. Judge Zimmerman will continue to preside over the “Bond Calendar” for Las Vegas Justice Court.
