Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Announces Request for Qualifications from Legal Service Providers

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 13/14-02

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is currently accepting sealed responses from qualified legal firms for the provision of legal services, Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 13/14-02. As a result of this solicitation, the Authority intends to select a firm to serve as its counsel of record to provide legal counsel to the Board and staff as well as coordinate the use of external legal counsel when needed for specialized issues.

A firm shall be selected to provide expertise and experience in advising and assisting the Authority with legal services in one or more of the areas listed in the RFQ. Services to be provided shall include duties attendant to the representation of the Authority and include, but not be limited to, legal advise, research, preparation and review of contracts and other legal documents, representation in court and administrative proceedings, representation in regard to selected personnel matters, and attending, as needed, board meetings, other public meetings, and hearings.

Responses are required to be submitted by the consultant or consultant firm in hard copy signed by a duly authorized representative of the responder and be received and time recorded in the RTAA Purchasing and Materials Management Division not later than 2:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time (PST), Friday, November 15, 2013 where they will be opened at that time.
