Eighth Judicial District Court Judge Rob Bare will discuss his experiences and what to expect in Department 32.

Judge Bare will focus on the common structure and procedure for his motion calendar, concentrating on Motions to Dismiss and Motions for Summary Judgment. He will discuss the best practices from practitioner’s perspective for motions and trial, including practitioner pointers regarding all aspects of jury trials (jury selection, handling exhibits, openings, closings, jury instructions and rapport with the court and jury).

Judge Bare will provide examples of what to do and what not to do. He would like this seminar to be an interactive discussion with the members of the bar.
