The Community Service Committee is dedicated to promoting the spirit and idea of giving back to our great community of Clark County. The committee offers opportunities for CCBA members to engage in various projects that are designed to serve Clark County. Examples of such activities include the annual Shoes That Fit program, which provides shoes to local students in need; the annual Holiday Project, which provides area families and underprivileged youth with warm clothes, shoes, toys, computer equipment, and food; the annual Memorial Project designed to honor members of the Nevada Bar who have passed away during the preceding year; and many other activities designed to benefit the community as a whole. The committee is constantly involved in community projects designed to allow members to control how much of their time and effort they contribute to the community. Co-Chairs of the Community Service Committee are responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing all community service projects. They are currently recruiting active members to head and/or lead various projects in an effort to streamline the management and organization of the committee.

Additional committee members include Karl Nielson, Hon. Stephen Dahl, Helen Towlerton, Sarah Thornton, Rene Valladares, Anatasia Noe, Susan Myers, Karen Eddington, Leah Martin, Christy Beckwith, Brian Blackham, and Phillip Drews. Board Liaisons to this committee are Linda Bullen, Damon Dias, Catherine Mazzeo, and Kari L. Stephens.

The committee meets at noon on the second Tuesday of every month at the CCBA offices.
