Shoes That Fit

What we need from you: Please donate $25 or more to purchase new tennis shoes and support this worthy cause. We would be most grateful and together we can make a difference in a child’s life. Send a check payable to the Clark County Law Foundation (CCLF), and we would be pleased to purchase shoes on your behalf. Or, if you prefer, you can drop off brand new shoes at the Clark County Bar Association office.

Who Benefits: Children attending Clark County public schools. With your help we will make a difference
and make a child smile one pair of shoes at a time.

How You Can Participate:

Look for fundraising events throughout the year and sign up to volunteer your time at bar events or at the Clark County Bar Center; or
Buy a pair of shoes in children’s sizes 11-6, and bring them to the Clark County Bar Center at 725 S. 8th Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101; or
Mail a check for $25 or more (payable to CCLF) and we will buy the shoes for you.

Past Shoes That Fit Collections:

Thank you cards December 2010 - Served Rose Warren Elementary School. Over $9,300 was collected and more than
746 children received shoes.

December 2009 - Served C.P. Squires Elementary School. Over $8,000 was collected and more than
703 children received shoes.

December 2008 - Served C.C. Ronnow Elementary School. Over $8,000 was collected and more
than 900 children received shoes.

December 2007 - Served Jay Jeffers Elementary School. Zappos donated $7,500 and 880 pairs of
shoes were delivered to the entire school.

September 2007 - Served JT McWilliams Elementary School. Over $6,000 was collected from CCBA
members and 775 pairs of shoes were delivered to the entire school.

Below is a list of organizations seeking support and volunteers. Although these are not events sponsored by the Clark County Law Foundation's Community Service committee, the committee wishes to show support by bringing attention to their efforts.

Baby's Bounty

The mission of Baby's Bounty is to ensure that each child born into an impoverished family has the necessary essential items to thrive. View Baby's Bounty Web site.

Summer Lunch League by Three Square

Summer Lunch League was started for one specific reason: hungry kids. More than 148,000 kids in southern Nevada receive free meals at school. Once summer vacation begins and those meals are no longer provided, kids need a hand getting enough food. It's really that simple. Three Square works to fill that need. Read more...
